Took me too long to get it, probably because I don’t watch races that often.
For those who don’t get it like I didn’t, “Onya Marx” is a pun on “On your marks”, as in “On your marks, get set, go”
I learned about her from Double Dare.
She would go on to marry another woman named Gertrude “Get” Set.
