This should be a movie
Back in the day I used to check out civfanatics.com for mods. There were tons for Civ4:BTS that made it so much cooler. After playing that and then playing Civ5, I was incredibly disappointed. Civ6 is better, but not by much. I still go back to Civ4 when I need my “one more turn” fix.
Born in 1984 and I often use the phrase “one leg in the analog, one in the digital”. Mostly because I had to learn the Dewey Decimal system.
Roll20.net has some free games you can join. I’d suggest 5e to start, and using 5e.tools for looking stuff up
Looked down at my printer and realized it was a Brother. Didn’t have to do anything special, it just worked.
Consider the first three books one trilogy that completes a story. It ends with a cliffhanger that picks up millenia later with the next three. The two written by Frank’s son “finish” the main story.
I enjoyed all of them and will reread them at some point. Of all of them, chapterhouse was the weirdest of them.
Jill is a great character. I highly recommend VA-11 Hall-A for a single play through, even though it has some replay value.
I switched to Ubuntu 22.04 on 2023-12-31. I had used a bunch of other distros back in 2008-2012, then got tired of manually tweaking things constantly. Things have come a long way and there are way more options to make things work. I don’t have to spend hours on the CLI or reboot frequently.
So yeah, I’m going to stick with Ubuntu for a bit, then switch to something else.
Yeah, well it works for me.
Ubuntu 22.04 server. It works well enough for my purposes and until it doesn’t I don’t see a reason to switch distros.

Yup, that’s what I was told they were called.
Ice ages typically happen due to very low insolation or the ability of solar energy to reach the surface of our planet. Insolation is a term often used when describing how much energy a solar panel can create.
Right now we have a big problem with too many greenhouse gases, which exacerbate the insolation we already have. It is heating our oceans rapidly, thus causing the break up of ice sheets in the Arctic and Antarctica. At some point the oceans won’t be able to absorb the heat we are receiving and air temperatures will begin to rise as well. Equilibrium. Hence Venus by Tuesday.

I worked night shifts for about 6 years. I didn’t eat the healthiest and was drinking pretty heavily. That plus a lack of vitamin D caused some weird health conditions… so yeah. Gotta take care of yourself if you do the night shift.
I love this image so much. Always gets an upvote
Sounds like you have a bad water heater or pressure problem
