A doctor is anybody with a doctorate.

Somehow, colloquially, we came to only refer to MD’s ( Doctor of Medicine ) as doctors.

A PhD is just a Doctor of Philosophy. A PhD doesn’t make anyone a doctor more so than an MD or a JD. Yes, even a lawyer is a doctor.

Anybody with a doctorate degree is a doctor. And just for fun, all a doctorate means is the highest degree awarded by a graduate school or other approved educational organization. Feel like I’m getting too technical with this so I’m just going to stop writing this comment.

It’s not the same effect. Then the sauce will be salted, and the pasta will maybe absorb some of that salt.

But, in my opinion, that’s an inelegant solution.

I personally do not want any more salt in the pasta sauce than what’s already in there. I do, however, want my pasta to take in a little salt from the water.

For those reasons, I add a little salt to my water as it’s boiling

Yeah, reading through this article, I’m not sure exactly what to make of the researcher’s conclusions. He directly compares tons of plastic used with conventional media with tons of CO2 generated by the overall cost of electricity compared to streaming.

These two things are not necessarily equivalent.

Started a new position last Monday. I’m very happy with the role actually, but it seems so hard to find actual training. I really shouldn’t complain, I’m not assigned much work currently or in the near future.

Just would be nice to have a better idea of the day-to-day, however.
