Seriously. Straight dudes are missing TF out.

I mean, in the 1950’s, the planes with all the fancy food and service were basically full first class flights… to return to that weed have to have single class/first class flights and the prices to match.
Same where I’m at. 😞
They know what they did.
Awe… little Burrito. So cute.
I remember watching her first interview with Tucker Carlson and thinking “oh thank god she’s a black hole for charisma.” She’s just a void of intellect and nuance collapsing in on itself… of course Ron DeSantis likes her.
For anyone unfamiliar, “Science Fiction and Futurism with Isaac Arthur” is a prolific YouTube channel. He’s cranked out dozens (if not hundreds) of hours about everything from building archologies on the moon, colonizing the surface of the sun, to settling what’s left at the end of the universe. What that guy does is genuinely a public service and he’s gotten awards for his work.
An Acquaintance: “Oh my goodness and they said that people could actually be living on Mars soon! Isn’t that just neat-o?”
Me: Having watched enough hours of “Science Fiction and Futurism with Isaac Arthur” to qualify for a doctorate
Me: “Yep. Sure is super neat-o.”
For like half a second my brain thought this was a meme comparing the fictional megacorps Zorg Industries from “The Fifth Element” and the Weyland-Yutani Corporation from the “Alien” franchise.
I mean… that’s putting a lot of faith in the dishwasher to work properly every single time you do it. I don’t know if I’ve got enough trust in the 1995 beige “landlord special” under my counter right now.
We’ve got to stop size-shaming almonds.
Perfection.
My Nephew: “What’s a fax machine?”
Me: “A landline network of low quality printers people used to use to do invoices and file for divorce.”
My Nephew: “Landline?”
Yeah, it could have been your instance having problems, not the third party app. That’s what I’ve been dealing with all week… it’s hard to judge apps when the platform itself is creaking under the weight of the influx of ten of thousands of new people literally overnight.
Been using Jerboa and Connect interchangeably for a couple of days to compare and contrast. Honestly Jerboa takes it, super stable and it’s been rolling with all the punches lemmy.world has been throwing it much better than Connect. I’d honestly recommend both, but Jerboa has been just slightly better in just overall UX. I’ll probably keep testing out the various apps for Android, but Jerboa will likely be my daily driver.
I’ve heard: “the customer is always right, until you get their money.”
Larger form factors also means more room for batteries. Granted, larger screens require them, but I think my point stands. I’ve been on the Samsung Note since like the Note 4 (I think). The larger amount of screen real estate is genuinely a welcome upgrade and that’s the whole point of the foldables… it’s the next evolution of the “phablet.”
