I love asking anatomy terminology questions like these. Fins, flippers, and tentacles don’t exactly have a pit to refer to, so the term is moot. However, wings do have a sort of armpit. I think I’ve used the word “wingpit” while writing bird characters before.

Micro Mages came out a few years ago on Steam and on NES. It’s a short game, but an audiovisual treat. 4-player, all on 40kb. The Atari is quite lower fidelity than an NES. Curious how it will turn out.
