  • “ya’ll” is also American English’s answer to the problem of not have a plural form of “you” (see also: “you guys” or “you all” from which ya’ll is derived).

    Due to English being heavily influenced by Romance languages, but not taking its grammatical structure purely from them, we really had no single-word version of “vous” (I don’t know other romance languages aside from French).

    Brave people push boundaries so that less brave people can read things in books.

    Edit: I assume the people downvoting this obvious truth think I’m calling them cowards. I assure you I will be right there with you curled up reading books about caving. Fuck all that.

    If it’s plastic or metal, as opposed to silicon, the lock can bang into it and make extra noise.

    All three have their perks but either minimal lock and metal or silicon are generally the more “discreet” varieties.

    Also true for women’s chastity devices, in terms of where the securing place is and what kind of locking mechanism you use.
