Can you imagine the moon landing was closer to 14 AD than we are?

Mine would be made in Germany if I bought it. I think it’s more a matter of taxes/lobbying and all that, all cars are more expensive here.
It’s $30k in the US?.. I’d be looking at 43k€-ish here ($47k)… Corolla is even more…
Right, it’s a blessing and a curse. I certainly get a lot more done in my general life since I started becoming like this as I get older, but catching up on borrowed sleep has become much more difficult.
The moon feels much more real to me when I see it in the daytime. At night it’s so bright I can’t really make out the details (my eyes aren’t the best), but during the day I see it very clearly and it looks more 3D, makes it feel much more like the big rock in space that it is.
Still not nearly as expensive though, prices in the US are artificially inflated through collusion, while prices in the EU are kept down via the huge bargaining power countries have when negotiating under a unified front.
Merci pour la citation. Indeed the fact she’s used the English word makes it lose a bit of edge but still, the sentiment is there.
Ooooh how is NZ TV? I love myself a good bit of British TV including OG taskmaster. I tried the Australian one but as with most Australian shows I find them too “Americanised” with over-dramatic editing and sob stories. Is NZ a bit more natural and low-key in their shows?
It’s at Teahupoo in Tahiti, for having witnessed it up close on a big day myself, I can confirm that place will chew you up and spit you out (if you’re lucky, in that order)
Ah yes good point, I missed that puff of sand, certainly would seem to support it being right side up. I might be thinking of another, similar image which was flipped.
Once again the Russians are keeping their secrets…
Depends what you mean by going out to eat. In Europe: these days we mostly cook, we only eat out if we’re going to a proper restaurant, in which case the food is made by a proper chef and is usually delicious. We very rarely order in because instead we have a subscription where we get two dinners a week delivered in reheatable format, the food is designed by dieticians so it’s not always super tasty but it’s healthy, especially compared to what we have available for delivery and it does the job of not having to cook that night. I’ve cut off fast food entirely except maybe a nice kebab here and there (very rarely). It all started when I went on a forever diet and counting my calories/macros, my partner, being amazing, helped me out with the healthy cooking and grocery choices.
It has to be a joke haha.
I just struggle with finishing my ton of blueberries before they spoil :(
Nice yeah I know exactly which road you mean, with the crazy houses.
