I know most gamers are tired of the Halo and Gears churn from Microsoft, but I gotta admit, I was really hoping Gears 2 and 3 would finally come to PC.

Yes :(
I would love a remaster of Gears 1-3 for PC. Some of my favorites from the 360 era. I find that as I get older, games past the PS2/3 and 360 era just don’t appeal to me. There seems to have been a major shift in the philosophy of game development since that time.
Fwiw there is a gears 1 remaster on pc. But we definitely need the MCC treatment and get them all on pc!
I 100% agrees with on the game philosophy changing. The only game I play on my ps4 now is farming simulator, and some occasional rocket league, that’s it. I e been really getting back into the ps3 generation of gaming again. MW3 and BO2 are absolute blasts still. Battlefield 3 and bad company 2 are a lot of fun. Something about these smaller gaming communities with such great games makes for an AMAZING experience. I also have really been enjoying the PS3 version of Minecraft a lot more too. To the point it is the only version of Minecraft I play. All the new updates are just, honestly, to much for me to keep up with.
BC2 was the last GREAT Battlefield game imo. I spent SO much time on that. Whereas BF3/4 took away a lot of the simplicity and balance that BC2 had.
I’ve been a PC gamer for about 12 years now, after having been a console player my entire life prior. I’m now at the point that I’m considering just buying a PS5 and no longer PC gaming. Reasons being that PS5 seems to have better optimized games than the shit ports these companies release for PC.
Why am I spending $3000+ on a gaming PC that can’t even run games as well as the PS5?
The Vietnam expansion for BC2 was so much fun. Kind of the end of an era.
Wholeheartedly agree. That was a true expansion, which are mostly gone these days. There’s a big difference between “DLC” and “Expac” imo.
