I would encourage you to watch that video, and as many in the series that keep your interest. We have what we have because of the way we vote. It’s just how the math shakes out. We have to change the first-past-the-post first, and then additional parties become possible.
We have what we have through protest and direct action. The 8 hour day and other worker’s rights were won by unions fighting back. Votes don’t matter till the people you voted for are afraid. Cut out the middleman and we don’t have to keep fighting for our rights.
It’s a copy riot.
The black flag comes in every colour
except yellow
Well the simple answer is that doing that is the easiest way to divide the masses and turn them against one another, thus allowing the rich to maintain control and do what they want
I mean, if you apply this to, for example, the USA and other first-past-the-post nations then you’re just promoting centrism by not picking the lesser evil and instead throwing your vote away.
You can demonstrate and argue for a better system and still choose the lesser evil until it is implemented
If you argue for this specific system where you don’t vote for the lesser evil, the progressive party, then you’re actively avoiding implementing it.
