NSFWI know that most of you maybe just come here to fap in peace. I will leave you alone in a minute. Before that, consider reading the following document. It was written 80 years ago and describes how fascism was able to rise and what are the signs to spot it.

Please can there be one tiny corner of the internet not posting about politics. Looking at the greater Lemme/Reddit spaces there is no shortage of political commentary.

The fascists will ban such tiny corners of the internet from the public as soon as they can.
See porn bans in the US, sometimes masquerading as adult ID laws. See laws forcing sex work underground, which enable abuse.
Queer people that can post here freely. Imagine Lemmy NSFW’s being forced by law to remove non-heteronormative content or shut down. …and then being shut down anyway for hosting “immoral content” or “demoralising children”.
Controlling the sexual sphere is one of the goals of fascism.

Up until now it hasn’t been an issue on this server. But if this keeps up thats probably a good idea to enable. Not sure if Voyager has them though
