Is it really this easy? I want to side load linux onto my desktop so i can start transitioning over (especially because i have an ancient laser printer with linux drivers in the box, that windows 10 wont support!)
I basically only use foobar, firefox, and gimp as it is
I had Mint up and running within an hour of deciding I was going to do so. Nvidia drivers gave me a bit of trouble but I had those solved in another hour. It really is that easy.

It depends on your technical knowledge and the distro you choose. But I would say it’s that easy
