I’m queerly the 'Leigh you searched for! 😉 I do tech things, enjoy pinball, try to draw, make a little music now and then, occasionally jump in the ocean and breathe underwater, and marvel at how I’ve lasted this long in this world. Trying to do my part to make it better.
Trans demigal (she/her)
I can’t see how they could possibly market a “Game Boy Advance” handheld successfully. It’d have to be something fundamentally different from the Game Boy Colour. 😉
For the average consumer, it’s all about the games. If the next platform has awesome games you can’t play on the current-gen platform, it’ll sell. (Well, barring some disastrous marketing…)
Wishful thinking at best. Nintendo has no incentive to rush forward with a new platform yet. Hardware ain’t where the money is, and they’re not struggling to sell software when they have something good.
Um Jammer Lammy. There’s a scene in the game where she uses a chainsaw to cut down a tree and build a guitar, leaving a stump — oops, I thought you were punning on that! 😆
Never heard of that one before, but clearly I need to find out. 🙂
Bwahahaha brilliant! 😆
passes you a marshmallow
Sam and Max Hit the Road?
Pass me that banjo, we’ve got a winner. .
While replying, look for the icon of an exclamation point in a triangle below. I had to search for it too!
The sun blew up. Again.
Pokemon, but which version…? 🤔
Magic the Gathering? No one said it has to be video games, right? 😆
I was going to guess “Gone Home”, but then I looked at the hint. 😅
My guitar’s in my mind!
Very much feel the same! “Beat the game” made more sense back when it felt like the game was trying to defeat you, whether that was for more quarters in the arcade or for more perceived value at home. But I switched to saying “finished (or completed) the game” a long time ago as the general nature of gaming shifted over the years. For story games with multiple endings, I might say I “finished it” if I don’t plan to go back and see other branches, or “completed it” if I got all endings.
I too am curious if this an age-related tendency or not, I’m in my 40s.
This sounds like it might really raise the incentive for building good transit networks along with bike and pedestrian infrastructure. 😄
Given that they’ve already announced plans for two Content Creator Packs for post-launch (included in the Ultimate Edition / Expansion Pass), I’m led to expect there will be. 🙂 Paradox and CO do seem to understand that the community was a huge part of C:S1’s success, and I don’t think they take that support for granted. Time will tell us for sure, but I’m feeling good about it.
With everything new we learn, this sequel is looking better and better. I’m hype!! 😄
You’re asking if it has rumble specifically inside the triggers, not just in general, correct? If so, I can confirm the Pro 2 doesn’t have any such feature. And if the Ultimate did, they’d probably say so on their website, so I doubt it does.
I love the idea, but I can’t see it actually working. Developers would just sell even more games as subscriptions instead of selling licenses, regardless of any interactive online content or lack thereof. (Think of EA’s 2013 release of SimCity with always-on DRM, for example.) Then when they want to shut their servers down, they just stop selling subscriptions and wait until the last one expires.
