Fair enough. I didn’t know that. Hopefully they don’t abuse their position, but at least it’s not a full ownership situation I guess.

Fedora is upstream of Red Hat now. It’s developed by the community, then IBM/Red Hat steal it lol.
Please calm down bro nobody should get this heated about a display server protocol.
I can’t imagine it’d be that hard to write some code that does that using an existing AI model.
Shareholders: why not all three?
Lol. I have no idea how Microsoft convinces these companies that they’re the “secure” option. My workplace has banned any AI except copilot, because Microsoft told them copilot is secure.
No, it’s obviously better to have the choice (run the game or not). And losing a game that previously worked on Linux is obviously a bad thing, hence the joke about it being good.
Of course you could argue that taking a stance against this kind of intrusive anticheat is good in the long run. If Microsoft had a backbone they’d do the same.
But yeah losing games because of anticheat is obviously a bad thing lol. No need to take it so seriously.
Hey bud. The original comment was a joke.
Views don’t update in real time but likes do. Always happens with big videos like this. It’s something to do with YouTube reconciling the view counts across multiple servers, which gets very difficult with large numbers. It’s a bit easier for them to create a stable like count when each user can only like it once, so they’re essentially adding that user to a list and then counting the length of the list.
The drag and drop thing is because it’s an app file. “Installation” is just putting the file in your application folder, or wherever you want it. Apps are (usually) just files, unlike on windows, so you don’t need to go through a complicated installation process, just put them where you want them (usually the applications folder).
The window snapping thing is annoying (but it’s not apple’s fault, Microsoft has a patent on it lol). There’s a bunch of free apps that add window snapping though 🤷♀️
That’s not the headline or the description written by the OP lol
That is not the obvious interpretation, and the headline (and description added by OP) are deliberately written to imply something that’s not true.
Damn bro you got them good. Great contribution to the discussion. Thanks.

Hell yeah bro same. I’ve been amazed at how much better Linux is in just about every way, except for native software availability, but it’ll get there. I feel like Microsoft is approaching the tipping point for shit people will put up with, and desktop Linux is so good now that non-technical people can move over to it.
