I vape, and whenever I order supplies online I have to go through an ID verification process, usually involving uploading a photo of my driver’s license to some system. If they had a way to tokenize this step, that would make the ordering process a lot simpler.

Back in the early days, watching a cammed movie was tolerable because the 480p rips that we’d otherwise get were so heavily compressed that there’d be hardly any step up in quality. It was also usually the fastest way I could find a new movie.

These days, releases get leaked from inside the studio all the time, at full quality, so there’s not really any legitimate need for cammed movies anymore.

YouTube isn’t remembering your progress for this video. I just opened an incognito window and searched YouTube for “gnu taler” as you mention, and in my results I see the same progress bar. I’ve never seen this video before, and certainly have never watched it.

For some reason, YouTube is adding a timestamp argument to the URL within the search results. Not sure why, maybe it’s a “smart” detection of moving you to the spot in the video that’s relevant to the term “gnu taler”. But it certainly has nothing to do with you, specifically.

Spamming links in the replies of trending tweets has been an advertising strategy for years now. You can’t open the replies to any popular tweet without immediately seeing titties and OF links. Blocking links in replies is an easy fix that they could’ve implemented ages ago if they actually cared about preventing spam.

But this isn’t about spam. This is about kneecapping fact-checkers before an upcoming election, on a platform where the owner has expressed endorsement for a candidate. Elon doesn’t want people correcting misinformation, he wants the lies to grow and fester and spread like cancer. He’s already pushed Trump-tagged tweets to users who have the term blocked; he’s not hiding it anymore.

The only socially acceptable use of a Twitter account these days is for encouraging others to get the fuck off of Twitter. Using a Twitter account for any other purpose is reprehensible, and cringe. Stop drinking at the nazi bar.
