Computer usage doesn’t determine that you spell it with a k.
A disk is indeed short for diskette, and disc is short for discus.
However, you can absolutely use a compact disc on a computer.
And while there are typically spinning platters or spinning magnetic strips inside hard drive disks or floppy disks, they are referred to by the whole unit as a logical disk drive that you’d see in computer.
If it’s possible to find them all now, you’d see that DVDs, CDs, Blu-ray, laserdisc, are all spelled like discus. 3.5, 4.5 floppy disks, hard drives, solid state drives, tape drives, etc all spell it disk.
So for the most part, being purely observational, you can see that anything shaped like a frisbee with a hole in it will be a disc, and everything else is a disk.
I think that’s slightly different than your explanation, as the terms are mutually exclusive.
I just want to ride on my motorcycle
BFG Division from DOOM 2016 or Darude - Sandstorm for the parallels of Run Lola, Run.
But in reality, silence. I’d need to form a plan and amping up on adrenaline wouldn’t help with that.
Well hold on. About a week later I sent 1 dollar to Sorry Dude. So it may not be over yet.
Wow, can you imagine trying to fix dry eyes by using eye drops, only to have to get them surgically removed to prevent your death? Going blind over eye drops? 4 deaths even…
You see those videos of workers in India doing barefoot work making pots and small metal parts. Turns out that’s everywhere, including your eye drops.
I’m sure the companies responsible won’t have any consequences, but I wish they would. That’s so incredibly reckless and who knows what else we use every day that’s manufactured this carelessly.
Additionally, most of Oklahoma is still various reservation lands. That was a recent court ruling, so I suspect this is a few years old.
They do, but Google reduced their utility. Ads from YouTube get through my uBlock Origin, and I see ads in my search results. This was a fairly recent development, as maybe a year ago I didn’t see any ads at all on Chrome. The day I got ads punched through my blockers, is the day I quit being lazy and migrated back to Firefox.
Google has no incentive to block ads when that’s part of their revenue stream, so they nerfed third party extension’s ability to actually work at intended.
Correct, but Chrome recently allowed ads through that weren’t block-able by uBlock Origin or any other blocker at the time. That’s when I switched back to Firefox, so I don’t know if anyone figured out a way around it.
Speed almost doesn’t matter for me, since Chrome allows ads and Firefox actually lets me use adblockers and privacy badger. The time wasted on ads are way larger than the time spent loading a page.
Well shit. I guess I can’t play it anymore. There’s still duotrigordle, waffle, and a million others though. Plus I was starting to see ads on the app.
